Tamera has both a professional and personal understanding of working with those diagnosed with high-functioning autism (Asperger’s Syndrome). She has worked with all ages, including children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. She specializes in transitional issues, particularly with those navigating from high school to college and/or a career path, are a particular interest of hers. Tamera is passionate about providing resources for individuals and families and personalizes a treatment plan to meet the needs of each client.
Sarah has professional experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In her 12 years of working as a special educator, she worked with students within a self-contained classroom preparing them for experiences in the general education environment. Sarah understands and is able to navigate the world of special education including working with education professionals, IEPs, and 504 plans. Having gained experience first hand, Sarah understands the needs of students with Autism and works to provide resources to the client and family along with personalized treatment plans to meet each client's needs.
